In 2004, IATP provided approximately 2,500 alumni of US government-sponsored programs with dial-up Internet access;

More than 650 nongovernmental organizations received free dial-up Internet access from IATP in 2004;

More than 220 alumni published academic materials online as a direct result of having free dial-up Internet access.

ECA Alumni and American Congressmen Discuss Real Picture of Ukraine
On December 22, the IATP access site in Lviv, Ukraine, organized a meeting
of the ECA Alumni Club with US Congressmen Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA), Adam
Schiff (D-CA), and Roscoe Bartlett (R-MD) in collaboration with the Public
Affairs Section of the US Embassy in Ukraine. More

Site in Panjikent, Tajikistan
On December 18, seven journalists participated in a two-hour seminar at
the new IATP access site in Panjikent, Tajikistan, to learn how to use
the Internet to do their jobs more effectively. More

Sissian Students Create Newsletter to Voice Their Interests
On December 16, Sissian secondary school students and members
of the Sissian Alumni Council celebrated the posting of the first online
issue of “Hand By Hand,” a newsletter created at the initiative
of Lusine Mkrtchyan (FLEX 04) and sponsored by the Teacher’s Union
of Sissian and the IATP access site in Sissian. More
