Citizens of Central Asian States Assess Economic Factors in Relation
to Revolution in Kyrgyzstan
On April 21, more than 55 business owners, scholars, college students,
experts from the media and NGOs, and alumni of US government-sponsored
exchange programs gathered at IATP access sites in 40 cities in Kyrgyzstan,
Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan to participate in an online discussion
on the economic preconditions and consequences of the recent political
events in Kyrgyzstan. More

Alumni Discuss Moldova’s Integration into European Union
during Online Chat
On April 14, over 50 citizens of Moldova, including alumni of US government-sponsored
exchange programs, journalists, students, social activists, and NGO representatives
gathered at eight IATP access sites across the country for an online conference
on Moldova’s course for integration in the European Union (EU). More
