As the Owner of Hello Soap, Lucrecia Viana has experience in running a small soap company: content creation, customer service, creation of new designs, sales strategies, and production. During the fellowship, Lucrecia aims to learn how to distribute the activities in a production line, strategies for quality control, and how to implement technology to prevent mistakes in production. Upon returning to El Salvador, Lucrecia plans to open a workshop in Ataco, a small town where women have to migrate to the capital to find work. Her goal is to create a stronger online shop and expand her product line so that she can begin to export her products. By opening her workshop with five local women, she will empower them to become wage-earners without having to leave their homes and families.
