IREX is pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony Latta as our new Chief Financial Officer. In his role, Anthony will provide strategic leadership to the team responsible for developing and implementing global financial planning, management, compliance, and oversight to continue to strengthen and sustain IREX's financial operations and strategy.

With 20 years of experience in finance and accounting, Anthony brings a wealth of knowledge in managing finance, accounting, and project functions both in the United States and internationally. His expertise spans a variety of sectors in international development, including public health, governance, and conflict prevention, with significant experience in supporting finance operations for U.S. government contracts, grants, and multilateral organizations. Anthony has worked extensively in the United States, with long-term assignments in Kenya and Afghanistan, and numerous short-term assignments across Europe, Eurasia, and Sub-Saharan Africa. 

Before joining IREX, Anthony was the controller at Amazon’s Kuiper Government Solutions (KGS), where he focused on ERP design and implementation, government compliance, and accounting operations for satellite internet services for U.S. and allied government customers. His previous roles also include serving as a finance and accounting executive at Abt Associates, Chemonics and IRG, where he led financial analysis, planning, reporting, and other critical financial functions.  

Anthony holds an MBA and MS in Finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University-Bloomington, an MA in International Affairs from American University, and a BA in Russian Language and Area Studies from Texas Tech University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Virginia and is fluent in Russian with intermediate proficiency in Ukrainian.
