Francisco Sebastião Marcos Ngola
Francisco Ngola has over three years' research experience in the public policy and government sectors. He is currently a Trainee Lawyer and Public Defender in the Correctional Police Court and works as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Law at Agostinho Neto University (UAN). At UAN, he is also a member of the Moot Court Initiative and provides lectures on decentralization and de-concentration. Francisco is working on his master’s degree in Civil Legal Sciences from Faculty of Law at ANU in cooperation with the Law Faculty of Coimbra University. Upon completion of the Washington Fellowship, Francisco hopes to provide workshops focusing on state liability for breaching the rights and interests of individuals in fulfillment of its legislative, judicial and administrative functions. He also hopes to contribute to reducing bureaucracy and increasing transparency in public administration. Francisco was one of 100 Fellows competitively selected to participate in an 8-week internship in the United States following the Mandela Washington Fellowship academic institute. He interned at Global Integrity in August-September 2014.
