As the Coordinator and Director for TSCF Graduate Network, Ruth Kissam works to promote a culture of freedom and equality that encourages initiatives for women and girls in settlements to work in partnership with relevant stakeholders and better their lives. During her fellowship in the U.S., Kissam hopes to learn the different aspects of government interaction with stakeholders in policy formulation, especially to help women and girls, while also developing her skills in engaging with donor agencies to seek funds.

Upon returning from Community Solution Program, Kissam hopes to work closely with relevant government departments for a better understanding of the roles and rights of women in settlements around cities.
