As CEO of an internationally awarded NGO, IQ Roma Servis, Katarína Klamková initiates, develops, and promotes human rights, social and educational inclusion strategies, and programs for Roma communities in the Czech Republic. During her fellowship in the U.S., she hopes to learn new ideas in public relations and campaigning on behalf of minority populations’ rights, respect and tolerance using bottom-up approaches, and social media and new technologies.

Upon returning from Community Solutions Program, Klamková plans to increase the number of cooperating Roma community civic sector activists and leaders and to recruit new ones from the young Roma generation, providing them with necessary mentoring and training towards leadership roles and proactive campaigning with effective usage of social media and social economy.
