Dimitri Japaridze

Dimitri Japaridze is the Chair of the Representative Board at Ilia State University in Tbilisi, Georgia. He is responsible for working with the University Boards to formulate the University Charter and submitting it to the Ministry Education and Science for approval, as well as overseeing university regulations, code of ethics and disciplinary liability regulations. His role also focuses on approving the university budget and the regulations of the structural units of the University, and approving the auxiliary and academic personnel hiring rules. Dimitri holds a Doctor of Business Administration from the R. Kennedy College in Switzerland, a M.A. in Geography, Regional Studies, and Tourist Services, and a B.A. in Law from Tbilisi State University in Georgia. During his UASP fellowship, Dimitri will be focusing on university governance and trusteeship.
