Kristine Soghikyan is the Head of the International Communication Department, and the Chair of Translation at Yerevan State Linguistic University in Yerevan, Armenia. Her role involves recruiting and supervising faculty; overseeing faculty professional development; developing curriculum and organizing instruction; and overseeing the supervisor of B.A. and M.A. research. Kristine holds a Ph.D. in Philology and a M.A. in Romance and Germanic Languages, both from Yerevan State Linguistic University. During her UASP fellowship, Kristine will be focusing on human resources management as it relates to recruitment standards and professional development programs for in-service teachers.
