The Youth Project Toolkit provides youth leaders and youth-serving professionals with 16 step-by-step project models for engaging young people in the community. Each of these models has been implemented successfully by youth in Russia through the Youth Competencies Development Program (YDCP), funded by USAID.

In addition to providing a bank of best practices and fresh ideas for skill-building projects, the toolkit includes tips for fundraising and recruiting youth participants.

Projects in this toolkit are based on the principles of Positive Youth Development theory. The projects help young people develop the skills and abilities they need to become successful adults and active citizens by engaging them in addressing community needs.
