Freeman Ahegbebu is the project manager for Cheerful Hearts Foundation’s ‘Stop Child Labor & Trafficking Project’, where has strategizes, designs and oversees the execution of all activities including community education, volunteer management, student sponsorships and maintaining healthy international partnerships. During his fellowship in the United States, he hopes to learn more about innovating sustainable community solutions while honing his technical skills and leadership capacity in a setting that promotes democracy and transparency. Upon returning from the Community Solutions Program, Ahegbebu wants to work with the fishing community of Senya Beraku to find innovative alternative income generation options.
