As the Founder and Executive Director, Consultant Programme Manager of Young Peace Builders (YPB), HELP-Sierra Leone, Herbert Bangura leads the overall direction, administration, and implementation of HELP-SL's programs. While in the U.S., Bangura worked with River Phoenix Center for Peacebuilding in Gainesville, Florida, where he focused his efforts on peacebuilding strategies. Since his return to Sierra Leone, Bangura has worked on community peacebuilding; sustainable livelihood intervention; and clean water, sanitation and hygiene programs.
