As a project officer for National Youth Development Trust in Bulawayo and rural Matabeleland, Njabulo Moyo mobilizes, builds capacity and equips traditional and elected leaders, such as ward based councilors and youth, to advocate for and promote their rights to democratic participation, service delivery, good governance and accountability. During his fellowship in the United States, he hopes to learn best practices transparency and accountability and how to use social media for advocacy and accountability. Upon returning from the Community Solutions Program, Moyo plans on enhancing youth participation in local governance and to promote dialogue between youth from different political parties through implementing accountability and transparency capacity building workshops as well as technology based dialogue platforms.
