As young and enthusiastic community leader that works as a resource center specialist at the American Corner Skopje, Krenar Qoku is a devoted human rights defender who has organized many educational and cultural workshops, trainings and presentation for promoting the understanding and importance of cultural diversity. During his fellowship in United States, Qoku intends to learn about new methods and tools that will impact and improve his active work in the Macedonian community relating to cultural diversity and understanding among youth. Upon returning from the Community Solutions Program, Qoku plans to begin an educational and cultural project in Skopje’s rural schools, where, due to an imperfect and poorly structured educational system, students are segregated.
