As a development and communications manager at Worldfund, Marília Gessa focuses on the intersection between business and the social sector and scaling up Worldfund's programs in Brazil. During her fellowship in the United States, she aims to learn more effective and sustainable tools to leverage systems and structures in order to scale impact. Upon returning from the Community Solutions Program, Gessa plans to put her improved skills in use in Brazilian slums by promoting structural conditions to ensure them equal access to public resources.
