As a program officer with the Division of Education, Youth Affairs and Sport in the Tobago House of Assembly, Vanessa Boyce has over 20 years of active involvement in volunteerism and youth development, which are transferred to her profession through the development and analysis of programs and projects for the progression of education, youth and sport on the island of Tobago. While in the United States, Boyce intends to strengthen her knowledge of conflict resolution, especially as it relates to at-risk youth in communities. Upon returning from the Community Solutions Program, Boyce plans to develop a program focusing on mentoring at-risk youth, with the aim of guiding their personal and professional development.
