Joseph Asfour is a grants, compliance and finance specialist with years of experience in operations, finance, administrations, grants management, capacity building, compliance and purchasing for CARE and Chemonics International. During his fellowship in the United States, he hopes to learn about best practices in accountability, transparency, good governance, civil society and anti-corruption. Upon returning from the Community Solutions Program, Asfour plans to link marginalized women and new graduates with local institutions, international markets and leading companies to ensure funds for startup initiatives in order to efficiently contribute in their sustainable community development.
