As the Chief Executive Officer of New Dawn, Nicholas Kaponda provides new Danes and new Swedes with integration skills and offers trainings in entrepreneurship, character development and personal leadership. While in the U.S., Kaponda worked at Cultivating Community in Portland, where he participated in training new Americans in business management and ecological friendly business practices. Since his return to Zambia/Sweden, Kaponda has focused his efforts on helping many young people acquire skills needed to settle in Scandinavia. In Zambia, New Dawn is training teen moms to integrate agribusiness and entrepreneurship.
