Starting in 2006, Baigalmaa Bayandorj worked as a consultant with Mercy Corps on social safety nets project and moved up to be being a full-time project officer in 2011, where she managed trainings on psychosocial support for marginalized households. She focused on promoting social and economic inclusion of marginalized groups by increasing community support networks. As a fellow at Maryland Nonprofits in Baltimore, Bayandorj dedicated her time to exploring the organization’s membership website, online institutional training modules, and approaches to social media and communications. She also spent time researching issues related to youth workforce development programs in Maryland. Following the Community Solutions Program, Bayandorj designed an online platform for civil society organizations, which promoted collaboration, provided online training sessions, and facilitated the sharing of best practices among community development organizations.
