Matej Kurian
Matej Kurian is the Program Coordinator with Transparency International Slovakia where he manages the development of thematic online portals including the Open Public Procurement and Open Contracts platforms, as well as writes policy briefs. Kurian has experience in data analysis, project management and public policy processes. As a fellow at Sunlight Foundation in Washingotn, DC, Kurian supported the Policy Team with comparative work and research on a variety of issues including campaign finance regulation, international technology-driven transparency projects, and policies as well as various position papers on U.S. politics. Upon returning to Slovakia, Kurian worked to create a transparency and accountability ranking of the top 50 organizational recipients of taxpayers’ money.
