As the Executive Director and core Founder of Tag a Life International Trust, Nyaradzo “Nyari” Mashayamombe established the organization to make the world a safer place for girls. She engages in advocacy and lobbying of authorities and local leaders on behalf of girls; mentors and builds capacity of young girls; and holds workshops on reproductive health rights for both boys and girls. While in the U.S., Mashayamombe worked with the prevention team at Women’s Crisis Support Team in Grants Pass, Oregon, where she taught high school students violence prevention techniques and co-facilitated the girls groups in a number of local high schools. Upon returning to Zimbabwe, she worked to start a justice delivery system campaign to challenge the current enforcement mechanisms against perpetrators of rape in Zimbabwe.
