As a Country Director of Riders for Health Liberia, Joseph Mehdeh manages and ensures timely transportation for all specimens to laboratories for testing in support of disease surveillance for treatment in Liberia. While in the U.S., Mehdeh worked with Chicago Ceasefire Project at the University of Illinois in Chicago, where he created a conflict management and resolution training. Since his return to Liberia, Mehdeh has focused his efforts on a drainage and waterway cleaning initiative funded by UNDP.
