As the Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution Thematic Leader with the Women Foundation Nepal, Bandita Thapa works on conflict mapping in communities and organizes workshops on conflict resolution. During her CSP fellowship, Thapa worked with the Northern Virginia Mediation Service in Fairfax, Virginia, on developing its elder mediation program, and on monitoring and evaluating its other mediation programs. Upon her return to Nepal, she focused on starting a restorative justice program in the schools surrounding her community, engaging minority youth in identifying their own problems and taking action to solve them.
