Mehdi Hasan
Md. Mehdi Hasan is Project Manager of UKaid funded project, 'Our-of-Poverty-Graduation-Model for Urban Extreme Poor: A Child Focused Innovation' at Save the Children International as well as an establishing member of Urban Research and Development Society, a nonprofit organization. During his CSP fellowship, Hasan worked with Sustain the Nine in the lower ninth ward of New Orleans, Louisiana, to help the local community adapt to and deal with relevant environmental issues such as hurricane- and flood-readiness. Hasan completed his Commonwealth Executive MBA and worked with coastal communities when he returned to Bangladesh, specifically promoting cultivation of saline-tolerant rice varieties. He is currently pursuing a European Master in Comparative Local Development as an Erasmus Mundus Scholar.
