As the “Open Data” Program Director at the Institute for Public Environment Development in Bulgaria, Iva Lazarova serves as an expert on international law and coordinates the organization’s international partnerships. During her CSP fellowship, Lazarova worked for Common Cause Vermont assisting with the organization’s efforts to increase the transparency of campaign financing and voter knowledge of the influence of money on state government. Upon returning to Bulgaria, Lazarova worked to establish an online platform that tracks campaign financing in the country in order to provide a more transparent campaign process. Lazarova also holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations from the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski".
