As a volunteer for the Sunflower Association for Human and Environment Protection, Ghadir implements projects and workshops, campaigns for environmental awareness and promotes sustainable development. Ghadir is an expert in youth development and engagement and is passionate about environmental awareness and protection. Ghadir has experience in project management, research and development, and developing awareness raising campaigns. During her fellowship in the United States, Ghadir hopes to develop her knowledge of community outreach techniques and advocacy tools. Upon returning to the West Bank, Ghadir plans to pursue her goal of building an environmental eco-youth center that aims to change Palestinian society’s behavior toward the local environment by engaging youth in creativity, arts, games, lectures, campaigning and raising awareness.
