As a Student Counselor and Service Coordinator for American Intercon Institute (AII), Kim works on developing, monitoring, and implementing programs that enhance students’ academic success and lifelong-learning process. Kim is an expert in English language education, instructional design, and education counseling with developed skills in education policy. During his fellowship in the United States, Kim hopes to learn about designing and managing community-based education projects while also developing his skills in needs assessment, project planning, implementation and evaluation, and effective community outreach strategies. Upon returning from the Community Solutions Program, Kim plans to use community education and counseling programs to increase students’ involvement in rural communities while promoting youth psychological and behavioral health.
