Hadijah Nankanja
As the Founder/ Executive Director of Community Women Enterprise Network, Hadijah Nankanja provides leadership for the in the areas of innovation and sustainability, partnerships and networks, and resource mobilization. While in the U.S., Nankanja worked with OneKC for Women in Kansas City, where she developed a funding proposal to support the delivery of micro-enterprise training sessions, researched Kansas City metro area demographics and the need for micro-enterprise, and developed a specific proposal for delivery of services. Since her return to Uganda, Nankanja has focused her efforts on the Women on the Shelf project that helps low-income women entrepreneurs gain shelf space in leading local and regional stores and the Young Women Entrepreneurs' Boot Camp.
