As a Project Officer for World Hope International, Cynthia Johnson has experience in rural economic development, working with human trafficking survivors, community mobilization, and empowering women through trainings and raising awareness. Upon returning to Sierra Leone, Cynthia plans to address the issue of girls’ inclusion for sustainable economic growth by introducing social enterprise as a tool for empowering marginalized rural and urban communities. Cynthia will be placed in Pace University in New York, New York working on delivering guest lectures to students in classrooms as well as visiting different centers.
