Janine Ampulire
As the Head of Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning of Access to Finance Rwanda, Janine Ampulire leads the development and implementation of AFR's research, learning, and knowledge management strategy; supports the development, measurement, and evaluation of AFR's strategy at both country and program levels; and leads the development and implementation of AFR's monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems and resources. While in the U.S., Ampulire worked with Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center in San Francisco, where she supported marketing, organized workshops and training for women entrepreneurs, and documented success stories for women entrepreneurs supported by Renaissance Center programs. Since her return to Rwanda, Ampulire has focused her efforts on the Financial Inclusion Research Project (Finscope), a project that provides information on gaps and trends in financial inclusion and the Women Financing Project, a project that supports three financial institutions in creating appropriate products for women entrepreneurs.
