As a Data Analyst for the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Silvja Hodo facilitates financial inclusion practices for the unbanked population. While in the U.S., Hodo worked with Victory Garden Initiative in Milwaukee, where she focused her efforts in drafting internal policies, maintaining the website of the organization, and organizing events and workshops. Since her return to Albania, Hodo is invested in improving the microfinance infrastructure by facilitating the provision of non-financial services, and has established the first Agri-Knowledge Hub in Albania, a digital platform which facilitates an online agri-marketplace, updates on agri-market prices, and provides advice on production technologies.
