Anthony Regis
Anthony Regis was integral in establishing the first non-profit youth professional school in Southeast Asia, the Southeast Asian Institute of Local Governance, where he now serves as Director of Peace and Conflict Resolution. He works with young individuals from war-torn communities and engages them to become future leaders and governance champions. Through the Children of War Educational Fund project, Regis helps children gain access to free education and become community-based peace and conflict resolution experts. As a fellow at the Latin American Youth Center (LAYC) in Washington, DC, Regis worked with the Community Peacebuilding Team of LAYC, focusing on the Gang Intervention and Outreach Project. He assisted the youth development aspects of the project and was involved in collaboration meetings as a member of the DC Mayor's Task Force on Bullying Prevention. Following the Community Solutions Program, he worked to help youth affected by war gain access to education and to empower them to become community-based peace and conflict resolution experts.
