Khongorzul Amarsanaa is a Co-Founder and Chairperson of the Beautiful Hearts NGO that focuses its efforts on prevention and elimination of child sexual abuse. She is a qualified psychologist, specialized in trauma-informed psychotherapy caused by domestic violence and sexual violence. She worked as the Program Officer and Community Organizer for the Center for Human Rights and Development in Mongolia where she took initiatives that seek to empower local communities, organizing citizens to monitor local governments and increasing the transparency of local government institutions. During her fellowship in the U.S., Khongorzul Amarsanaa worked at the Alamo Area Council of Governments in Texas, assisting in improving social media accessibility, strengthening community networks, and encouraging community action. Upon returning to Mongolia, Khongorzul Amarsanaa worked to develop grassroots networks to empower and educate women to become involved in the local development process.
