As a Program Director for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Commission on the Status of Women, Amna Waheed has experience in gender inclusive governance and public policy. Amna is placed at Represent Women in Washington, DC, to assist with research about the international representation of women and investigate how national advocacy efforts around women's inclusion in public decision making connect to work at the state and city level. Upon returning to Pakistan, Amna plans to undertake capacity development in inclusive governance and leadership at the Women Commission so that they are able to implement their mandate more effectively.
