As an Administrator and Board Secretary for Autism Botswana, Intlafatso Evelyn Kwapa has experience as an advocate for the rights of individuals with autism and their families and caregivers. While in the U.S., Intlafatso is placed at University Settlement in New York to support social service programs for immigrant and low-income families. Upon returning to Botswana, Intlafatso Evelyn Kwapa plans to develop a creativity center where youth with autism and other intellectual disabilities could learn skills to engage in community projects.
