Gunawadh Kem
Gunawadh Kem is a veteran journalist who serves as Director General of National Television of Cambodia TVK. He joined the staff of Radio Voice of People of Kampuchea in 1979, shortly after the collapse of the Khmer Rouge regime, and in 1983 was among those tasked with founding TVK as the national broadcaster. In 1988, he was assigned to follow the negotiations to end the civil war in Cambodia and traveled extensively to cover the talks and send reports back to Cambodia, finally ending at the United Nations in New York with the signing of the peace agreement in 1991. Over his career, he has been a cameraman, reporter, producer, anchor and editor. In 2004, he was appointed as Director General.
