Antonio Tembe is a producer at Radio Mozambique with a focus on health programs, particularly related to maternal and child health and HIV/AIDS. He also is involved in training journalists to produce behavior change programs for community radio stations on domestic violence and other social issues and public health challenges. His journalism also addresses gender issues and women’s rights, and he was recognized in 2012 with an award for his sensitive coverage of the abortion issue in Mozambique.
