As the Director of Vila Brasil – Língua e Cultura and a Portuguese as a Second Language teacher, Ana Luiza Gabatteli Vieira has experience in managing a language school, organizing language and cultural exchange programs, coordinating a social project which offers free Portuguese lessons for refugees, and teaching Brazilian culture and Portuguese as a second language in Brazil and abroad. During the fellowship, Ana Luiza aims to learn about how to become a better, more influential leader, how to plan and start a successful social business, and how to build a good network and network more effectively. Upon returning to Brazil, Ana Luiza plans to help refugees to receive free professional training and find work so they can restart their lives with dignity.
