As the partner and general manager for Kafetalsa SA, Anahí Alvear has experience in client management, imports, contract negotiation, organizing groups and events, translation, and employee management. During the fellowship, Anahí aims to learn about efficient processes in production, cost management, and ways to integrate technology in a small business. Upon returning to Ecuador, Anahí plans to apply all the information acquired to her own business and to organize workshops for family-owned businesses and enterprises so they can overcome challenges that have kept them from growing and expanding their enterprises.
