Sally Bisharat
As the communications officer for the USAID-funded Youth Excel program, Sally leads the design and implementation of the project communications strategy, develops content supporting project outreach, and engages with partners and youth participants to support their communications effort.
In addition, she contributes to project reporting and design, conducts technical trainings, and cultivates relationships with local and international media.
Prior to joining IREX, Sally served as the communications specialist for Generation For Peace (GFP), a leading global nonprofit peacebuilding organization based in Jordan. She assisted in implementing and contributing to the communications strategy, developed content and material in support of the communications plan, and worked on liaising with local and international media and maintaining relationships in order to help increase the visibility of the organization.
Before joining GFP, she served as the cluster marketing communications manager for the three Marriott Hotels in Jordan. She led the company’s marketing efforts by creating and executing the overall marketing activities for managed hotels.
Sally holds a bachelor’s degree in integrated marketing communications from the American University in Cairo (AUC) with a minor in business administration.
