Tom is a Technical Adviser with IREX’s Iraq Programs team.

In this role, Tom supports the development and implementation of training programs and curriculum for Iraqi educators. This includes providing technical support and capacity building for e-learning and English language education.

Tom has 20 years of experience teaching English as a second and foreign language including 5 years in South Korea teaching children and adults, and 10 years of faculty work in U.S. higher education administering intensive English language programming and international student support services.

Tom holds an M.Ed. in Second Language Education from the University of Toronto and a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Western Ontario.
