Richard Yohane
As Executive Director for the Rights Institute for Social Empowerment, Richard Yohane oversees the delivery of programs promoting and protecting the rights of women and girls made vulnerable by poverty and HIV/AIDS, focusing on resource mobilization, proposal development, and project monitoring and evaluation.
Following the Community Solutions Programs, Richard plans to work on projects that increase vulnerable women’s resiliency through income-generating initiatives.
While in the U.S., Richard hopes to learn new strategies for working with women and girls on empowerment programs and gain experience on participatory approaches to community development.
