Dorothy Kanduhukye has over four years of experience in the areas of sustainable enterprise development and business development. As the Information and Membership Officer of Uganda Women Entrepreneurs Association Limited (UWEAL), Kanduhukye manages the organization’s media relations, including social and internet media platforms, plans and coordinates member networking events, and oversees the IT needs of the association. While in the U.S., Kanduhukye was paired with the Women’s Business Center at Kennesaw State University of Georgia, where she learned new ways to promote sustainable women’s economic empowerment. Now that she has completed the Community Solutions Program, Kanduhukye is working to help rural women develop business skills through practical product development, entrepreneurship skills trainings, mentoring, and promoting market linkages.
