As an External Consultant and Lecturer for the Institute for Development Management (IDM), Oabona Sepora has experience advocating for social justice for marginalized communities. For their follow-on project in Botswana, Oabona plans to amend the Birth and Death Registration Act to recognize Botswana's "third gender."

Oabona will be placed at RISE: Healthy for Life in Kingsport, TN to learn more about the best advocacy practices to develop solutions to challenges faced by marginalized communities in Botswana.
