As a Former General Practitioner and Project Coordinator for the Youth Network for Sustainable Development, Segen Berihu Dirar has experience engaging young people in advocacy and lobbying stakeholders to promote comprehensive sexual reproductive health. For her follow-on project in Ethiopia, Segen plans to empower commercial sex workers by providing them a better future and helping them become agents for their Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR).

Segen will be placed at Women Creating Change in New York City, NY to enrich her advocacy strategies, focus on adolescent and young women's SRHR, and promote gender equality.
