As a Project Officer for New Vision, Xheni Hatillari has years of experience in community organizing, youth activism, countering violent extremism, public health, and human rights. For her follow-on project in Albania, Xheni will continue focusing on health education for young individuals of marginalized groups.

Xheni will be placed at Placer Community Foundation in Auburn, CA to learn about the organizational structure of community work, develop new skills in the field of global health, and establish a wider network of collaborators.
