Jellie Molino
As a legal consultant specializing in project management, environmental law, corporate social responsibility, and community development, Jellie M. Molino uses her experience as former Vice President for Resource Generation and External Affairs and General Counsel at Batangas State University to review past and existing projects and policies for the Taal Lake Aquaculture Alliance, Incorporated, (TLAAI) and the Department of Science and Technology Region IV-A (DOST), ensuring that they are legally compliant to various rules and regulations of the government while developing strategies to implement the organizations’ goals. While in the U.S., Molino served as a fellow at the Environmental Law Institute in Washington, DC, where she conducted a case study on the lessons learned on aquaculture co-management under the writ of continuing mandamus in Taal Lake, Batangas. She also analyzed the decisions of the Supreme Court of the Philippines on petitions for writ of kalikasan from 2010 to 2014. Now returned to the Philippines, Molino is focusing her work on increasing the awareness and commitment of the communities surrounding Taal Lake in Batangas on their responsibility to protect the environment that provides them with sustainable livelihood.
