As a Project Officer for Voluntary Services Overseas, Sunita Basnet has experience in project management and girls' education. For her follow-on project in Nepal, Sunita plans to orient young girls on menstrual health and hygiene and expand research on ending period poverty at schools.

Sunita will be placed at The Pad Project in Los Angeles, CA to develop training modules and tool kits for peer mentoring on sexual reproductive health and menstrual health and hygiene to contribute to ending period stigmas.
