As a Project Manager for VOICE Area Federation, Awaday Divagaran has experience addressing the inclusion of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in all dimensions, advocating for the rights of PWDs, supporting PWDs to live independently, and improving sustainable economic conditions in Sri Lanka. For his follow-on project in Sri Lanka, Awaday plans to integrate good practices to develop the capacity of PWDs and promote community-based inclusive development.

Awaday will be placed at Disability Rights California in Sacramento, CA to learn good practices for disability inclusion, advocacy, and policy change interventions.
