As an Assessor of Deportes Para la Vida Program for The DREAM Project, Nirelis Esther Puello Ventura has 10 years of experience working with youth and educating them on topics such as leadership and sexual and reproductive health through sports and other fun activities. For her follow-on project in the Dominican Republic, Nirelis plans to develop a project focused on the leadership and sexual health education of adolescents and young women.

Nirelis will be placed at PPGO-Ohio Center for Sex Education in Columbus, OH to tackle sexual health and leadership issues and obtain the tools and knowledge to help continue her social work in the Dominican Republic.
